Frequently Asked QuestionsDo you work with partners too, or only with the person who gave birth? Yes. Perinatal mental health affects partners and dads too, and Lindsay works with both. Non-birthing parents often go through their own anxiety, identity shifts, and grief during this transition, and rarely have a space set aside to talk about it.
Is therapy only for postpartum depression? No. Perinatal mental health covers pregnancy through the first year after birth. That includes anxiety, birth trauma, infertility, loss, and the general identity shift of becoming a parent, not just postpartum depression.
Do you offer virtual perinatal therapy sessions? Yes. Lindsay is licensed in DC and Maryland and offers virtual sessions through a HIPAA-compliant platform, along with in-person sessions at her NW DC office in AU Park, where you're always welcome to bring baby along. Together, we can figure out what's the best fit for your clinical needs.
